Students who satisfactorily complete a program at the Advanced Diploma and Diploma level may be eligible to graduate. The Sunshine Coast TAFE holds a formal graduation for these students each year.
Assistance
Learning assistance is available to students at all centres by negotiation with your teachers. To be effective, learning assistance needs to be identified and accessed in the early stages of your studies. If you think you may need learning assistance, please talk with your teacher in the first instance.
To enhance the training that students receive during some programs at Sunshine Coast TAFE and to assist transition into their chosen vocation, the Sunshine Coast TAFE has made provision for students to undertake one or more periods of Vocational Placement. Once the written agreements are in place, students involved in work experience or industry / vocational placement have Workers Compensation coverage for permanent injury, disability or death, whilst at the placement location, or while travelling directly between their home or the Sunshine Coast TAFE and the location. The insurance does not cover payments for medical or hospital treatment, rehabilitation, artificial limbs or traveling expenses. You may choose to get additional medical and hospital insurance for the time of the placement. It is your responsibility to arrange this on your own behalf.
