Short Course Description

Online Business Building will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to create successful business on the internet, using creative marketing strategies and advanced technology models. This course will support students in developing a business model for their own online business venture and incoporates all the vital elements that contribute to successful business performance in an internet commercial environment.

Short Course Requirements

This course runs on a Wednesday night for 6 weeks from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.

Lesson 1 - Start with an online business concept and create your point of difference
Lesson 2 - Broaden your demographic range
Lesson 3 - Strategies for attracting visitors to your online business, with concepts of organic online and offline marketing and search engine optimisation
Lesson 4 - Strategies for generating revenue for your online business
Lesson 5 - Developing long term relationships with customers and subscribers
Lesson 6 - Refining your business model and doing it better.

Students will be assessed via various modes including; assignments, tests, oral questioning, observation and third party reports. Assessment is competency based and requires the completion of all projects and assignments, written and/or practical, as set out within the TAFE student handbook.

Please bring a pad and paper and an A3 sketch pad.

Call into any of our Customer Contact Centres and we will provide you will full details of your course and complete your enrolment forms with you.
We can take payment directly over the counter using cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS � Mon-Fri 8.30am � 4.30pm at the following Campuses:
