Living Expenses

Australia offers excellent value for money. Living expenses and tuition costs are generally less expensive than in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. The cost of living on the Sunshine Coast is generally lower than in other Australian cities.

On average, you need between A$15,000 and A$20,000 per year to live comfortably on the Sunshine Coast. These estimates are in addition to airfare, health cover and tuition fees, and will vary depending on your lifestyle and preferences.

If you have a spouse or dependant child accompanying you to Australia, you will need to allow more for living expenses and international school fees for school age children.
