Step 1 - Complete your application
Download and complete the International Application Form
You will need the following supporting documents:
- Copy of passport and visa pages
- Educational certificates and academic records
- English Language Test results / Proof of English proficiency
- Evidence of employment history / References from employers (if required)
- Portfolio of art/photography work (if required)

Step 2 - You will receive an offer of place
This will be a conditional offer on the basis that you meet certain conditions or requirements. These will be stated in the offer. This offer will also include our Refund and Transfer Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Step 3 - Before the expiry date on your offer you should:
- Pay the tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) as stated on the offer by bank cheque, credit card or telegraphic transfer.
- Read the Refund and Transfer Policy and Terms and Conditions forms which accompanied your offer.
- Return the signed copy of the Response to Offer either by email, fax or mail
- Provide evidence that you have met any conditions stated in your offer of a place.
Step 4 - Receive your confirmation of enrolment
We will email your confirmation of emrolment (CoE) to you. This document is required for your visa application.
Step 5 - Apply for your student visa
The Australian Embassy must see your:
- Confirmation of enrolment (CoE)
- Offer of place.
Step 6 - Arrange your travel after collecting your student visa
Flights from some countires to Australia are heavily booked. It is advisable to book your flight well ahead of your planned departure ddate.
Step 7 - Arrange your accommodation

Step 8 - Attend International Orientation Day
Attendance is compulsory. Orientation Day provides us the opportunity to welcome you to Sunshine Coast TAFE and gives you the opportunity to meet other international students and also obtain lots of practical information about adjusting to living on the Sunshine Coast.
