Step 3 - Fees and charges

Check the fees and charges guidelines to determine if you are eligible for a fee reduction. Fees must be paid before you commence classes.

Step 4 - Complete enrolment

Complete your enrolment before the closing date using one of our many convenient options.

Step 5 - Confirmation

When your enrolment is processed, an enrolment confirmation and receipt will be forwarded to you. It is important to check the accuracy of these documents and retain a copy of both for future reference. A signed copy of your enrolment confirmation will be deemed as further confirmation of your acceptance of the terms and conditions of enrolment.

Enrolment checklist

What if I miss the advertised closing date?

If vacancies are still available, enrolments will be accepted after the advertised closing date. A late fee of $12.50 may be payable for one or more modules.

Check carefully

It is your responsibility to ensure your enrolment documents (including evidence required to claim fee concessions) are correct and signed by you, or your guardian if you are under 18 years of age. Failure to provide all necessary documents and payment will delay your enrolment and could jeopardise your place in your chosen program of study.

Applications via QTAC

Step 1

• High school students need to apply for programs through their school
• Other applicants should obtain a QTAC Form B from any Sunshine Coast TAFE Client Service Centre or directly from QTAC.

Step 2 - Application

Completed application forms must be forwarded to QTAC for processing.

Step 3 - Confirmation

If your application to enrol in a program of study is successful you will receive an acceptance letter, an information pack, and enrolment forms (which will include program fees). You should receive this within two weeks of either the advertised application closing date for certificate programs or when an offer is received from QTAC for diploma programs. It is important that you follow the instructions included in your acceptance letter. In some cases students will enrol for the duration of the whole program and in others enrolments are processed on a semester by semester basis. The duration of your current enrolment is determined by the dates on your enrolment selection form.
