Business and Employers : Funding Solutions

Funding Solutions

Funding Solutions

There are a range of State and Federal Government initiatives designed to improve the skills of your workforce and support your future growth. As the funding experts, we can help you identify which sources of funding can apply to training your staff. What's more, the training your staff receive can often be wholly covered by the funding.

Incentive and subsidy funding may be available for eligible employers who employ trainees and apprentices to undertake training under an existing worker traineeship, for experienced workers, older workers and indigenous workers. Talk to us today!

Existing Workers Funding

This Commonwealth-funded program provides training to existing employees in the form of an apprenticeship or traineeship. For every eligible employee who undertakes an existing worker apprenticeship, or traineeship the business will receive a financial incentive to help cover the costs. This financial incentive makes training extremely cost-effective, as in most cases it covers the entire cost of the training.

This training mode doesn't require the employee to attend classes on campus. Our trainers will use a blend of flexible learning options, including workplace and online delivery, to suit the needs of the employee and the business.

To be eligible, employees must have a minimum of three months full-time employment (or equivalent part-time) within the business, hold no high-level qualifications (Certificate III and above) in the training area and be a Queensland resident.

Return on Investment (ROI) Calculator

Training can have a measurable impact on performance and the bottom line, regardless of the size or type of your industry or business.

The Queensland Government has developed a calculator to help you identify your potential return on your training investment.

Productivity Places Program (PPP)

The Productivity Places Program (PPP) is part of the Australian Government's Skilling Australia for the Future initiative. This program will provide additional training opportunities to assist Australian workers and job seekers to develop the skills they need to be effective participants and contributors to the modern workforce. It aims to address higher-level skill shortages and increase workforce participation and productivity. These qualifications are being delivered in an industry-driven system, ensuring that training is more responsive to the needs of businesses and participants.

The Australian and State/Territory Governments aim to provide a total of 711,000 training places nationally for existing workers and job seekers over five years. The training places will be delivered in response to skills and occupations demand identified by industry.
