Senior educational designer
Marybeth has over 26 years experience in the health, community work, and education sectors at a clinical and tertiary level. Her work reflects a focus on project consulting, and developing and managing projects in vocational education, especially to develop curriculum, establish new training areas, achieve course accreditation, create blended and flexible learning materials, and undertake research. Mentoring, capacity building, and networking have also been key themes throughout her work. She has drawn on her experiences to research and develop training for diverse projects in Australia, including nurse and allied health training programs in tertiary and vocational sectors; women and children’s health programs; mentoring programs for health practice; indigenous health plans; and shipmasters medical care training. She has also worked on international projects to collaboratively develop curriculum content for health workers and managers in Papua New Guinea and other Pacific nations, for secondary and vocational educators in Vanuatu, for senior human resource practitioners in Bhutan, and for senior public sector managers in Timor-Leste. Marybeth has contributed to research and educational policy and advocacy with involvement in professional organisations, such as the Australian Vocational and Educational Training Research Association, the Australian Women’s Health Network, and the University of the Sunshine Coast Human Research Ethics Committee.

Roslyn is an Accredited Editor with over 16 years experience as a project manager and senior editor/publisher in educational, corporate, and specialist environments. Since 2008 she has been appointed to the Australian Industry Skills Council Quality Assurance Panel to support the development of National Training Packages within the AQTF. Roslyn has worked on many diverse projects and publications, including several national health projects for PNG; an Australian Indigenous maternal and child health program adapted from a high-profile US program; an award-winning UK-based international women's development program; and research publications on topics as diverse as behaviour management in child care, and factors affecting soil futures. She also co-wrote a state government paper on methods and costs of training in Indigenous communities. Her experience includes developing learning materials for courses in health, business, and community services, and creating a wide range of corporate reports, tender submissions, and marketing materials for public and private sector organisations. Roslyn combines this with 16 years developing and managing training delivery projects and contracts in vocational and tertiary education, and 5 years prior experience as a HRM practitioner in the food manufacturing sector. In 2009 she led the release of AusVoc’s first trade paperback, for the childcare sector. Roslyn has a particular strength in building the skills and capabilities of content providers in client organisations to plan strategies and create publications that enhance the impact and effectiveness of wider development projects.

Kellie has over 3 years experience in educational publishing with AusVoc. She completed her Communication studies first in her class with a Distinguished Academic Achievement, and is currently studying for her Master of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development with the Australian National University. Kellie has worked extensively on educational materials to support major public health projects in Papua New Guinea and for Indigenous communities in Australia, as well as a growing range of corporate and other vocational education materials. She is responsible for the daily marketing and sales operations for AusVoc trade publications. Kellie also has 18 months experience working in corporate communication and marketing in the finance, technology, travel, and community sectors.

Sara is currently completing postgraduate studies in International Health, with a focus on key issues such as primary health care and maternal and child health. She has previously spent 2.5 years as a volunteer in Nepal, with the International Nepal Fellowship, as part of a team of health, development, and related professionals working with people affected by tuberculosis, leprosy, disability, HIV and AIDS, and drug abuse, as well as facilitating development within communities through a range of health and other projects. Sara joined AusVoc during 2010 to research and write technical content for educational publications.
