About TAFE Qualifications
Sunshine Coast TAFE offers a wide range of nationally recognised qualifications, many of which are formally accredited within the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF). Our qualifications range from a Statement of Attainment through to a Diploma/Advanced Diploma.
Qualifications Explained
Statements of Attainment
These are awarded to students who successfully complete components of Certificates, Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas, or who successfully complete a nationally accredited short course.
Certificate
These programs are aimed at skill enhancement and professional development. We offer a wide range of programs from Level I to Level IV, allowing you to start at the right level for you and progress through the qualifications.
Diploma and Advanced Diploma
Diploma programs are higher level programs that will build your professional status and are an excellent pathway to further study and university.
Apprenticeships and Traineeships
Earn while you lean through work-based training that leads to trade/indsutry-recognised qualifications.
Workplace and Study Preparation
Improve your literacy and numeracy, and also prepare for adult entry to university through our Adult Tertiary Preparation program.
Dual Qualifications with the University of the Sunshine Coast
Sunshine Coast TAFE has formed a strategic relationship with the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) to help people on a pathway to a full degree. You can start your studies with Sunshine Coast TAFE and complete them with USC in our dual awards.
